Like and Dislike in your life – finding your self esteem needs

Yesterday, I went to TK park. It is the modern public library in Bangkok. I left my kids in children corner with my wife, baby sis and cousin. So I have a chance to look around and read some magazines. I found one interesting article in SeeSan magazine. They interview variety people to share about personal 5 likes and 5 dislikes with no limitation. They can share anything that pop up in their mind. Then I look back to myself and ask the same questions but I cannot think about any which are my extreme like and dislike in my life.

I think this is the important ground idea to find self esteem needs.

I will take some time to think about it and record in this blog. I believe that once I found it, I can jump to the next level of hierarchy of needs.

May – This is my month

May 2008: I was born in this month but this year it is a very busy year for me.
I didn’t expect any birthday greeting since I come back to my home almost midnight.
I run many projects in office from 9 to five.
Then I rush to study my MBA until late at night.
I expect that my birthday this year will be as same as another working day.
Wake up in the early morning.
Take a bath and get dress, prepare to go for work.
Walking down from upstair.
Why no one turn on the light today.
I heard the song along the way to dining table.
“Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you …..”
My wife and sons sing birthday song for me, how sweet. They didn’t forget about my day.
I eat cake as my breakfast and go to work happily.
I’m busy with my work and go for lunch and come back to finish my work again.
In late afternoon, all the light in my office black out.
I heard the song along the way to my room again
“Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you …..”
All my subordinates buy me ice-cream cake, how nice are they.
2 cakes in one day
I finish the cake and finish my work and finish my MBA study at the end of day.
Tired but happy.

ไม่ได้เขียนมานาน เพราะยกเลิก High speed internet ที่บ้านไป ส่วนมากก็ update ที่ facebook.com แทน แต่ไม่ได้เป็น blog แบบนี้ พอดีไป post บทความแรกบนนั้นเลยเอามาโพสที่นี่ด้วย

Today, I accidentally visit to website called 43things.com. I’ve ever seen it before on my mobile widgets but I don’t care to know what it is. This time, I curious to know and click into it. Wow, it is a good ideas to let people input their own wish list and keep updating status to complete their wish list task by task.

Then I look back at myself but I try to think in more longer term. What do I want to achieve in my life time? At this moment, I come up with my 10 ultimate goals. I will write it down here to remind me and not lose in the dark.

  • Survive with my new job in Budapest
    • Update: (target had been changed due to unforeseen situation, I decided to joined new company in Thailand instead of moving aboard)
  • Save 50 million Baht at the age of 50
    • Update: (cannot reach target in time if I don’t count my asset since I decided to buy bigger house and put both kids into international school instead).
  • Retire at age before 55
    • Update (the fun of life is that it cannot predictable, I took package from company at ages of 50 but still need to find another job later)
  • Has my own family business or other sources of revenue
    • Update (decided to invest in crypto currency to generate passive income instead)
  • Support my 2 kids until graduate bachelor degree
  • Take my wife to Japan as promise
    • Update (completed)
  • Contact my good old school/university friends
  • Visit my own wonder of the worlds list
    • Update (so far, I went to Nakhorn Wat, Wat Rong Khun, the Library of Cecius, Hagia Sophia) base on my wonder of the world reference book
  • Buy 10 million Baht new house
    • Update (completed, I spent around 16 million Baht for my new house)
  • Always see the world happily (keep doing it everyday)

Vacation again!

5 June 2006 วันนี้ออกไปทำงานตามปกติตอนเช้า ซึ่งปกติแล้วจะสามารถขึ้นทางด่วนได้ตอน 7:30am และจะถึงบริษัทตอน 8:00am แต่วันนี้รถติดมาก  กว่าจะได้ขึ้นทางด่วนก็ 8:00am แล้ว ไปสายแน่ๆ อย่ากระนั้นเลย โทรไปลาพักร้อนเลยดีกว่า เชื่อไหม ผมลาพักร้อนเนื่องจากรถติดบ่อยมากๆ ถือว่าเป็นเหตุผลหลักสำหรับลาพักร้อนเลยก็ว่าได้
แล้วผมทำอะไรบ้างหละ ตอน 10:30am ช่วยภรรยาคุยกับตัวแทนบริษัทกาแฟเพื่อจะประเมินพื้นที่ ที่จะเปิด franchise ไม่ได้รวยนะ แต่พยายามใช้เงินที่ครอบครัวมีอยู่ให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด โดยที่ภรรยาไม่ต้องกลับไปทำงานประจำ ทำไมหรอ ก็เพราะเค้าตัดสินใจลาออกจากการทำงานที่มั่นคงเพื่อเลี้ยงลูกให้ดี และจะหนักขึ้นเมื่ออีกคนคลอดออกมา เค้าเริ่มอยากจะกลับไปทำงานประจำแล้วเพราะเบื่อ แต่ถ้าเป็นอย่างนั้นต่างฝ่ายก็จะกลับมาถึงบ้านประมาณสองทุ่ม แล้วลูกจะให้ใครเลี้ยงดี
ทางเลือกที่ดีกว่า คือทำอะไรที่เป็นของตัวเองโดยให้ภรรยาดูแล แล้วยังมีเวลาเหลือที่จะดูแลลูก ซึ่งจะขยับขยายได้ในอนาคต คงไม่มีใครจ้างผมทำงานจนแก่หรอก จริงไม๊
ตอนนี้ก็รอลุ้นว่าทำเลจะ OK รึเปล่า อยากได้จัง

36th Birthday

พึ่งจะพ้นวันเกิดผมไปไม่นาน วันเกิดจริงๆ ก็ไม่ได้ฉลองอะไรมาก เป็นวันที่ฝนตกหนักแต่เช้า ผมลาพักร้อนทุกปีในวันเกิดปีที่ผ่านๆมา ถือว่าเป็นการให้รางวัลกับชีวิตอย่างหนึ่ง
แต่ก็ไม่ได้ทำอะไรมากในวันนั้น เป็นการไปเยี่ยมญาติที่พึ่งเดินทางมาจากต่างประเทศ พูดคุย พบปะกันซะมากกว่า ที่สำคัญ คือแจ้งให้ญาติๆทุกคนทราบว่า ผมกำลังจะทำบุญบ้าน มาช่วยเอาบุญกันกลับไปหน่อย จะได้เป็นศิริมงคลกับทุกคน
ปรากฏว่าทั้งอาทิตย์นั้นยุ่งมากทั้งผมและภรรยา เพื่อที่จะเตรียมงานใหญ่นี้
เราเชิญพระแค่รูปเดียวเป็นพระที่ครอบครัว และพี่ชายผมนับถือมาก เดินทางไปทั่วสารทิศเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้คน น่าเลื่อมไสจริงๆ ทุกคนที่มาร่วมงานต่างได้รับพลังบุญกันทั่วหน้า แต่สงสารท่านที่ต้องเหนื่อยมาก เพราะการมอบพลังต้องบริกรรมคาถาค่อนข้างนาน ยิ่งตอนทำน้ำมนต์เพื่อพรมทั่วบ้าน ท่านท่องคาถาชุดใหญ่เลย ยาววววววววววววววมากกกกกกกกกกกกกกกกกก แบบที่ผมไม่เคยได้ยินที่ไหนมาก่อน สำเนียงท่านเวลาบริกรรมคาถาจะออกแขกๆนิดๆ เนื่องจากท่านสำเร็จปริญญาเอกจากอินเดีย ท่านมีของศักดิ์สิทธิ์อยู่อย่างหนึ่ง รูปร่างคล้ายๆก้อนหินรีๆ ทุกพื้นผิวถูกฝังด้วยอัญมณีสีต่างๆ ในพิธีกรรมที่ทำจะเสมือนว่าสามารถนำความดีไหลผ่านก้อนหินนี้เป็นสื่อเข้าตัวได้ ก็ดูแปลกๆดี พี่ชายผมบอกมารับพลังกัน หลังเสร็จพิธีก็พูดคุยกันเล็กน้อย จำใจความได้ว่า จากที่ท่านศึกษามาท่านเชื่อว่าความดี ความเลวสามารถส่งผ่านทางคลื่นเสียงได้ ทำให้คำบางคำในบทสวดส่งต่อพลังงานเหล่านั้นไปสู่สิ่งต่างๆทางคลื่นเสียง ก็เป็นแนวคิดที่น่าสนใจดี
พอสิ้นพิธีกรรมก็เล่นเอาเหนื่อยทุกคน แต่ก็รู้สึกสบายใจอย่างบอกไม่ถูก ต่อไปจะเป็นยังไง คงต้องดูกันไป แต่ต้องดีขึ้นแน่ๆเลยผมเชื่ออย่างนั้น
